Description: “The future belongs to those who can think critically, solve problems creatively, and use technology responsibly.” Convent of Jesus and Mary, Shimla, successfully organised an enriching workshop on “Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence” on 6 June 2026 for its teaching faculty. The workshop aimed to equip educators with the knowledge and skills required to integrate computational thinking and AI into modern classroom practices. The programme commenced with a warm welcome address, highlighting the growing significance of computational thinking and artificial intelligence in today's rapidly evolving world. The workshop featured distinguished assessment team from St. Bede’s College, Shimla and Convent of Jesus and Mary itself. Ms. Nivedita Bhardwaj, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science. A comprehensive PowerPoint presentation was delivered by Mr. Manoj, Ms. Aditi, and Ms. Kanchan, making complex concepts accessible and engaging for all participants. The workshop witnessed active participation from the faculty members, who gained valuable insights into innovative teaching methodologies and emerging technological trends. The interactive sessions encouraged discussion, collaboration, and exploration of ways to foster problem-solving and critical-thinking skills among students. The workshop concluded on a highly positive note, leaving participants inspired and better prepared to embrace technology-driven approaches in education.
